We are now taking registration for our updated 2025 iteration of the IDEA's Lab on the theme "Co-Creating Equity-Driven Solutions in Global Citizenship Education". Based on feedback from members, we will now conduct a two-part workshop instead of a residential training.  Part 1 will be held on 11 Friday July, 10.00am-4.30pm. We expect part 2 to take place end of August/early September.

The format and focus for part 2 will be co-designed with participants based on the outcome of part 1.

Join us for a full-day interactive workshop designed to help members co-create equity-rooted Global Citizenship Education (GCE) ideas. Grounded in the Double Diamond design thinking model, this session will explore with practitioners new design and working methods.

We will discuss self-care, participatory and justice-centred approaches, barriers to meaningful engagement with marginalised communities, inclusion, co-agency, accessibility and much more. The workshop will be centred on equity and collective transformation and through storytelling, visualisation, and co-design, participants will develop practical insights to guide their work.

This event is only open to members of IDEA. Each participant is however encouraged to bring a team member/colleague along, who could be a member, non-member or even work outside of the sector. 

There is a fee to attend this event.
